We recently had a bad experience with David of Brisbane Helicopters. We’d booked to use a voucher we’d bought at a charity fund-raiser for a return chopper ride and lunch (separate voucher for each) – lovely, we thought. All seemed fine: I organised with him to meet at Archerfield airport; I’d looked up BH online and its address was Terminal Building at Archerfield, so we turned up there on time…but no-one was there. We waited half an hour, started to get worried, then I found I’d missed a call from David 5 mins earlier. I phoned him straight back and he said he was at a hangar 10 mins away on the other side of the airfield. He said: I texted you instructions this morning, and phoned you half an hour ago. I said: no, you didn’t; you texted a ‘hello’ message but no instructions and you phoned 8 mins ago.
