Brisbane Northside Produce

We drop in regularly to see all the animals. Such a treat to see new born goats last time we were there! The kids love coming here and being able to hold a bird or other small animal. Staff are always so great and welcoming!

Have been going there for years even when they were at Bald Hills!! I went there yesterday and staff are only to happy to help with any questions!! They take out the tame birds if you want a pat!! Ideal for the animal lover and for kids!! Great place to visit!!????????

Three Red Hens: I can't say how important and fantastic the team at Northside Produce are!!! To my daughter, when a jealous landlord evicted us for bringing home her hand-reared chickens from kindergarten, they are superheroes because they took in her Three Red Hens for a minimal boarding fee, for several months. I don't condone using them as a refuge, but these chickens spent hours every day with my preschooler and to do such a kind thing for small people and small animals alike is somewhat unusual in this devil may care selfish world. I am aware of other acts of intentional kindness which Northside Produce perform and they are not a feed store or pet store but a bastion of the community. "The moral worth or indeed the greatness of a nation may be judged by the way in which its' animals are treated."

They have a good range of products at competitive prices while being in suburbia.

I found a young female staff member a bit strange. I'm not sure if she was rude or shy but made me feel a bit unwelcome.

On the day the flies were intense like nothing I have seen or felt before so wear repellent.

this is a must do for anyone who has animals, they have a huge selection of animals on site, it’s almost like a miniature petting zoo and loads of feed, cleaning products etc. Just be sure to direct your questions to a staff member with plenty of experience, the inexperienced staff are lovely but they have a bit more learning to do!
