Brisbane Powerhouse

Located on the banks of the Brisbane River, this great venue hosts bands, theatre etc. Great deor and atmosphere!

One of my favourite venues of all time. I've been to seminars, art shows and weddings here and each is better than the last. The bar is fantastic, the view is magnificent. It's just one of the most amazing places in Brisbane.

Further out of city than I expected, lunch was expensive, signage for conference was poor but great building and atmosphere, lousy sound but would be interested to see comedy there.

A spectacular building perched on the banks of the river. You could dismiss it looking at it's harsh exterior but once you step inside you see the beauty of the old building. Containing two restaurants with tantalizing menus it's a great venue to pop into and have a meal by the water. For those who love an exhibition there's always something on that delights the senses and stimulates the mind. If theatre, spoken word or music is your jam check out the listings page to see the current free and pay for events and finally for those with children every Tuesday morning there's a childrens play event. Heck, you can even join the circus while you're there!!!!
Not to be missed, a must visit in Brisbane

Wonderful location, beautifully preserved historical building. Always have interesting events held, also weekends markets and a really nice restaurant.
