Don’t bother with this company.. I didn’t choose them my builder did. I had fencing done and the fence was flapping and moving. Not secured correctly. We also had a side gate built by them.. I requested a stainless steel lock as we are on the beach and they installed a standard lock. Within weeks the lock was seized and neither I or my site supervisor could unlock the gate. They sent out an installer who admitted the lock was seized and as he had trouble locking and unlocking the gate he told me the barrel was cut to an incorrect size which created a problem to lock and unlock also.. . I phoned to find out when a ss lock could be installed and to advise the gate had dropped and got nowhere .. he tried to tell me the installer had no problems with the lock which is total rubbish. I wouldn’t be in this predicament if the lock was fine. I’m left with a side gate that’s non functioning and a total waste of my money..

Great standard of work and competitive pricing. Have now done fencing at 5 of properties over the space of 40 years - still very pleased with this commitment and quality after all this time.

At the time when I had my fence built, about September last year, I had several delays but finally a very good job. Mine is a corner block and I had a combination of good neighbour and slat fencing. But they had problems - the guy who quoted did so when his wife had just gone into labour. The guy who did most of the fencing's father died .....and he didn't quite finish his bit and the guy who did the excellent slat work had a heart attack the day after he did my job! But .......at least I got a fence. Most other contractors just didn't bother to turn up or return my calls.

I'm in same position as Mark - paid deposit in May. 2 seperate people came out to quote at seperate times not sure why 1st warning sign. Fence posts put in in end of June. Posts not level up to 12cm difference. Post also not positioned in correct space loosing 50cm of useable space 2nd warning sign. Posts then put back up. After a further 4 weeks fence panels installed along with one fate that with no latch. 2 months on I to have been left with an unfinished job - gate banging because it's not secured, a second gate lying under my carport not even installed and the concrete from original posts left in my garden. I'll point out this was only a small 6m fence with 2 gates! Communication and care disgraceful. Do yourself a favour do not choose Broadview Fencing.

IF you want to get stuck with a company that does not follow up and never finishes their job, then by all means go with Broadview Fencing. It has been over 2 months after paying our deposit, and we have been kept in the dark when the simple fencing job will ever be completed. After calling many times with no one actually taking responsibility, the job is just stuck forever being told someone is coming but never do. Good luck!!
