I don't think the staff mean to be rude, but they are rude. I got two notification slips for the same parcel (which I already picked up) and the lady behind the counter said (very rudely) that that was impossible when I went to check with them today (I wasn't sure if it was the same package with two notification slips or two different parcels because I was expecting multiple. I REALLY hope she was right because otherwise one of my parcels will be lost!) Unfortunately I will have to use this post office in the future to pick up other parcels but will avoid at all costs
I have lived in a number of states in Australia and used a number of Australia Post branch, this is the WORST branch I have ever used. I am really offended by the condescending, looking down attitude of one of the staff there. I was told by e mail that my package was ready to pick up and verified this on the Australia Post website. I then write down the tracking number and one of the staff said "I don't even know where to look". I then called Australia Post and went there the second time and was assisted by another staff. Using *exactly* the same tracking number I gave earlier, my package was located in less than 2 minutes.
