Bronte Family Doctors

There used to be 2 reliable Drs at this practice, but since Dr Finger left, there's only Dr Hardy worth consulting with. The only problem is, her appointments are generally booked out for weeks. Don't waste your time or money on the others, who always have availabilities, as they are useless.

I was charged for a long appointment at this clinic (not entirely sure why as the appointment wasn't very long) and noticed that I didn't receive the correct refund amount from Medicare. When I followed up Reception admitted that a mistake had been made and a short appointment had been put through instead of a long one, so I was short changed around $38. I contested this and asked that I be repaid the money as it was the clinic's mistake. Fast forward 2 weeks later and I am still waiting for my money. Reception keeps saying that they have to speak with Management, but conveniently Management never seems to be around when I call. They are clearly just trying to get out of paying for their mistake. For a clinic that charges top dollar the customer service is atrocious. Note that before the appointment I was also left waiting for 45 minutes to see the doctor. I do not recommend this clinic.

I visited this clinic on a Saturday for severe period pain and for a prescription for the birth control pill. The doctor told me she didn't think it was period pain and that I was probably constipated (completely and utterly wrong, I know my own body). She told me to buy an over the counter laxative. She then refused to prescribe me the birth control pill and got quite aggressive at me when I asked why. She snapped that it wouldn't help me with my current issue and that I could come back in a week if I wanted it. By that stage I was frightened of her and just wanted to get out of there! On top of all this I was charged $132 for the appointment. Never again!

My family and I have never had anything but positive experiences at Bronte Family Doctors! Reception staff are wonderful as are the doctors! Thanks team :)

Incredibly friendly and knowledgable doctors but let down by a receptionist who has been simply rude on three consecutive visits.
