Real-deal artisan NYC bagels come to SydneyBrooklyn Boy Bagels is Sydney's first true artisan New York bagel maker and bakery. Launched by Brooklyn-born food journalist Michael Shafran, we produce bagels using the time-worn traditional methods that have made NYC the bagel capital of the world. From kettle-boiling to hand-rolling, long cold fermentation and top-quality produce, we put our hearts and souls into our bagels. We don't cut corners, so Australians can enjoy bagels the way they are meant to be: chewy, malty and with the necessary depth of flavour.
You can find us at our new Brooklyn Boy Bakery Cafe, as well as at farmers markets and pop-ups around Sydney, and leading city cafes and gourmet food stores.

Cannot believe I am lucky enough to live within minutes of the BEST bagels in Sydney. any carb lover will appreciate the chewy yet glazed bagels, with subtle flavour bombs detailing every bite. Pumpkin is my #1 pick... but blueberry is also to die for. Shmear/Lox/Condiments not skimped on in the slightest and coffee a massive win (the best on bunnerong rd- they actually know how to do a soy!!).
