Browns Bakery & Patisserie

When you walk in the bakery the smell there brings you back in your childhood when helping with other family members to bake the dessert and then eat it whole.

All goodies from this bakery are sooo delicious that I should put some limits when I choose what to buy from them otherwise I'd buy and eat whatever is in store.

I decided to give this place a try as I walked past. I wasn't disappointed. Absolutely delicious. I too loved the macaroons.

The reputation alone made me walk in there for the first time and then I saw the macaroons! These little almond crunchy creme biscuits are just divine. I know my macaroons and these are definitely top 3 in my book.

Browns is a very upper class bakery. Personally, I don't find the food all that nice and the high prices make it even less enjoyable. The coffee however is decent and if you need somewhere fancy and classy to take someone to - on lygon street - then this is probably your best choice. Good for a change and something different, but not the best bakery to visit regularly... unless your wallet lets you.

Well-stocked bakery. Devonshire tea always good. Last sausage roll I ate there seemed to have way too much salt, sadly.
