The Lynton family founded Bruce Lynton BMW in 1974, with the dealership located on Nerang Street in Southport until mid-2016. The Nerang Street site was home to BMW sales, servicing, finance, parts and accessories for 42 years. In August 2016 the Lynton family made a very emotional decision to sell the BMW and MINI franchises on the Gold Coast, after representing the BMW marque for 42 years and the MINI marque for 15 years.
The Bruce Lynton Automotive Group currently represents the Jaguar, Land Rover, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Ssangyong and Tata marques as well as Bruce Lynton Quality Used Cars which specialises in quality pre-owned vehicles.
Over the years the Bruce Lynton Automotive Group has evolved and developed to be at the pinnacle of the automotive industry.
As a second-generation family owned and operated business and as an active member of the Gold Coast community the Bruce Lynton Group aims for integrity, loyalty and mutual respect in all aspects of their operations.

The WORST customer service I have ever experienced. Bought a new Range Rover Sport from Bruce Lynton. First poor experience was they took forever to fix the faulty brakes in the car as "waiting on parts to arrive". Second bad experience was them letting the battery run flat in the car whilst it was in for a service...advising us the battery was low (was perfect before it went in for a service), but sending us away without replacing the battery, saying "If it goes flat, just call RACQ". Any decent service centre would have replaced the battery under warranty when they realised they had let it go flat. Third bad experience was they replaced another part with the wrong part!!!!! Unbelievably incompetent staff, and not a word of apology for any of the inconvenience caused.
If you want to buy a Land Rover or Jaguar please do yourself a favour and go somewhere else to buy!
I've bought two cars via Bruce Lynton.
The first had an ongoing issue with glass in a back light cracking and I needed to repeatedly take the car in for repairs (at no cost due to the fault.)
Seeing I live over half an hour away, this was very inconvenient from a time perspective.
Have had no issues with the second vehicle, but it's not optioned as well as I'd like for the price. Have chosen not to use their service department again.

I bought a used Maxda black cx7 from Bruce Lynton southport less then two months ago - gorgeous car- useless car yard. I wouldn't buy a car from these people ever again.

I just had the worst experience purchasing a new BMW at Bruce Lynton BMW. I literally have been put through a lot of BS and over promises since signing contract in June 2012. Car didn't arrive til September. I literally had to swear my head off and I had to beg to ensure things are done properly. Dragged into their internal politics, I was at their mercy.

BUYERS BEWARE !!! Bought a 2nd hand BMW through Bruce Lynton 18mths ago. The only reason I bought this car was as they offered a "full 3 year warranty" I had peace of mind. In the last 6 months I have spent almost $5000 on repairs and the Bruce Lynton endorsed 'National Warranty Company' have paid a total of $300 towards my repairs. ...read more
The Manager advised that they have never had a complaint. I just found a whole list of dissatisfied clients. They mislead me, and caused many nights of unease sleep.
