Called, didn't come, asked to put his phone up as I couldn't hear him. Sounds rude as, some foreigner not an aussie, I believe everyone is an aussie no matter what background. Asked me where I want to go, said mareeba to dimbullah, said 200 upfront, that is insane. It popped up in his head straight away and that's too much money, taxis in the cities are cheaper then that and charge by the km, not charging by the price in their head which is insanely dumb and rip off. Not worth a call
Absolutely horrendous. Driver told me he "had other things to do" when I called. When he arrived, he was short with me and demanded where I wanted to go before I had even got into the car.
When we arrived, he yelled at me to get out, snatched my folded-up pram from my hands and threw it out of the car, and then when his eftpos machine wasn't working, he yelled at me again and accused me of trying to get a free ride.
Never in my life have I encountered someone so aggressive and nasty, especially to a heavily pregnant woman with two small children like myself. Absolutely disgusting.
