Bruny Island Cheese Company

A must-do for cheese lovers (/likers/try-sometimers) while visiting Bruny. The tastings are generous and the cheese platter is huge! Must get super crowded in summer but midweek in May we were a bit more lucky with space. What a fabulous way to spend a sunny Autumn afternoon.

Another stop along the main road of bruny, this is a nice, modern cafe where you can sample the cheese of the local area. Vine wrapped soft cheese is a smelly treat, but tasty once you try it. The 'Tom' is a hard bitey cheese and seems to be the more popular choice. You can buy locally made jams and preserved fruit here too! Platters are also available and it looked nice being able to drink wine and eat local delights under the trees...
