I made an initial call to request an appointment for a consultation. The first question they asked me was "Are you employed?" I said no and I was immediately given the phone number for Legal Aid. The immediate assumption was that I had no job and thus no money. I took my business and my money elsewhere.

I had a case of unfair dismissal and their Cabramatta office reffered me to their Liverpool office that handles these cases. They told me that I would hear back from the Liverpool office that afternoon to set an appointment. I didn't hear from them that afternoon..I didnt hear back from them for the next 2 days! Finally I called up and was put through to someone's voicemail. I left a message and didn't hear back for another 2 days! I finally had enough and sent them an email telling them about my experience and their customer service. I also told them that I would be looking for another lawyer for my case. Lo and behold I got a call from them 5 minutes after I sent that email!! They wanted to schedule an appointment but I told them that I would rather go with someone else.
