Recently we stayed at this hotel coming from Sydney to attend my fathers funeral. We are a family of 5 and we booked the 3 bedroom apartment. When we finally got to the apartment we were not all impressed. The decor was dated the ceiling was cracked the paint was dated and the kitchen was in poor condition with all utensils old and worn.There was not enough crockery etc to use for what we needed. The cupboards were dirty and under the sink the shelving was water damaged.On the window sill there was a dead bug. The bathrooms were in desperate need of a makeover with mould around the corners etc.the bedding was fresh but the pillows were too flat and there were no extras to be found.The air-condition was Ok but the filters were filthy. Unfortunately the Hotel was disappointing. The management need to upgrade their facilities.I don't I will stay at this Hotels Apartments again.
Spent a three night stay a few months ago, to celebrate a friend's extended birthday with them. We found the room beautifully appointed having been upgraded to an executive room. (The renovations were very tasteful in the main room area, although I've seen nicer bathrooms in my accommodation experiences.) The grounds are very well secured, so whilst your vehicle cannot be parked immediately outside your room in many cases, the high level of security leaves you feeling very comfortable. In-room wireless internet was handy and complimentary. The restaurant - a popular local spot for special functions. My only complaint was that our room was not ready on check-in, 90mins after ETA. It's situation on Nepean Highway in Highett is somewhat unremarkable in terms of location appeal (not for the holiday traveller looking for a pretty view/destination) - but it's certainly handy for travellers; with a business traveller feel.
