Budget Car & Truck Rental Frankston

Before booking a truck online I phoned Budget to see if I needed to pay excess KM's as I would be travelling a fair bit, they said no I did not. Upon arrival of picking up the truck, I asked them about citylink and how this worked. I mentioned again that I would be driving to Brunswick, they did not state anything about extra mileage. After paying for the truck, returning it full with diesel, I find that I have been charged an extra $28 for excess mileage. When I phone the company Eugene said that we had only been allocated 50km's for our trip, after stating these details they did not help me in any way, they were rude and bluntly ended the conversation stating they needed to speak with the person who I dealt with. I doubt I will hear back from them, but I will certainly be calling them back! Customers do not deserve to be treated that way.
