Budget Car & Truck Rental Hobart Airport

The rates at Budget is as competitive as others, but it is one of the most sought after car rentals when we were picking up our rental car. All the car rental services are located in one building outside the airport so it was quite easy to see what is available although pre-booking your car before travel is definitely recommended as there were hardly any spare vehicles left that normal Saturday morning.

The staffs were quite prompt and performed the paperwork in a quick manner. However, there was only one person delivering the car so we had to wait for the cars for a while after we signed the paperwork almost up to 30 minutes. I booked our rental on the Internet and used the entertainment discount codes to get a 3rd weekend day free. When u arrived at the counter I was warmly greeted and advised that we qualified for a free upgrade from a Nissan X Trail, to a Nissan Pathfinder. The line built up behind me but my assistant Donna was professional and courteous. I was advised online to collect a letter from the counter to get a letter for permission to take the rental onto Bruny island. I was advised a letter wasn't needed as all budget rentals are approved... Hopefully this serves true! The car was clean and in a great condition.
