Budget Direct has been the worst to deal with. Poor communication . We had to call several times to follow up & THEN we get a phone call telling us that our claim was declined, as the problem is pre-existing!! We are still waiting on our report to be sent let alone an assessor to be allocated to our claim!! This has been going on for over 3 months - my property has had no bathroom & we have lost a lot of money let alone the Stress this has caused the both of us!! Very unhappy with the whole process. We will be moving to another company if this isnt resolved & I will be telling everyone I know about this disgusting service!!
I had comprehensive car insurance with Budget Direct and was moving to a new home with my wife in the same small town of about 3,000 people, so phoned Budget Direct to change my address. After giving my new address I was Asked for my credit card number as the change of address cost $7.40. I reluctantly gave it, but was irritated so phoned the next day to find out if this was normal policy. I was then told that it was because of a different post code, so I told the person it was the same post code as before, having told the person the day before the same thing. Then I was told the increase was for a higher risk area (in a small town of 3,000 people - no way!!) I then cancelled my cover with them and went elsewhere. If you deal with these people BEWARE!
