Our Stara company used Building Advisory to complete works for water damage within the cavity which led to paint bubbling and mould. They charged an arm and a leg for the works completed and within 4 months, we continue to have the same propblem.
Ian from Buidling Advisory advised he would come out and inspect again, but still waiting for this to occur. Received an email to advise they are busy until Feb 2017. An absolute joke of a company.
I strongly recommend against them!
This post is simply untrue. This owners corp took 5 months to approve payment on a job which was completed exactly as per the scope of works. With internal moisture problems there can be many causes and we have taken the first step to complete the most obvious repairs required etc. Over the past week I offerred to attend site by sms, email and phone messages with no response. We will continue to try and resolve the problem.
Review of Building Advisory was harsh and calling the company a joke was out of line and built from frustration. Initial work order - Ian visited the site, explained what he thought was happening and agreed to a start date and the works were completed on time. Each worker was professional and the site manager kept the us informed. A 1 star is not reflective of the first works, were 4 or 5 stars is more appropriate here.
