Building Compliance Reform Association
Getting building compliance right for the future. The BCRA was formed to advocate for change to reform the current practices and compliance processes in Victoria and across Australia. Currently, hundreds of thousands of building consumers are left totally without consumer protection when purchasing the biggest investment of their lives and the outcomes are unfair and unjust.
The BCRA website focuses on assisting and educating the future domestic building consumers through the often treacherous path of building their dream home. It also provides a forum for owners to share their building experiences, to network and disseminate information that is not available elsewhere.
The objective of the BRCA is to participate in the reform process, through conducting research, making submissions and meeting with Government to work through the compliance issues that resulted in a loss for Victorian consumers of an estimated $3-4 Billion in 2010-20011. We need support and we need information about your building experience. Please feel free to contribute on line or ring Fiona O'Hehir ...read more
