Bunnings Ashfield Warehouse

This store usually has items out of stock and the parking is taken up with delivery trucks, who don’t mind parking you in.

Very big store, big aisles and always plenty of staff on hand. Heaps of parking on sight too. The plant section is small and I feel it could be bigger.

Not as big as Alexandria but definitely has everything you need. Also the staff are always really helpful. You can ask them where an item is and they will know exactly where it is!

I don't know about you, but Bunnings makes me all warm and fuzzy in the middle.

I think it speaks to my inner builders bogan really. Minus the short crack of the behind.

I went here on the weekend to pick up some supplies to build a new cat scratcher and they deliver every time.

The staff were wonderful and they even cut the wood for me to specifications and didn't bat an eyelid when I kept bothering them about things I need to find that I haven't been able to find in the specified areas.

And the best bit? The sausage sizzle was still going at 2pm!!! HORRAY!

Huge hardware store with reasonable parking, though the street out front gets busy. They usually have what you want though locating it can be hard without staff assistance. They make a sausage sizzle outside that usually wins my partner's vote.
