Bunnings Highpoint
I visited the Timber trade section of Bunnings in Maribyrnong today as I needed some pieces of timber to use in my bed frame. I was very very lucky to be looked after by Peter, Luke at the counter, and another worker in the cutting section (I am sorry my memory fails right now and can't remember his name... Todd, possibly?), who also gave further advice for the right choice of wood as well as cut the right size for me.

This is your one stop homewares store for all your renovating and garden needs. They do weekend DIY classes on a wide range of subject matters including tiling and installing a mail box. Unlike their troubled competitor Masters, the staff here are always helpful and know their stuff. They always have someone greeting you at the entrance to help shorten your search time so that you can get on with your weekend. The outdoor and indoor plant collection here is also very good.
The new Bunnings is terrific! It's 2 stories! Which makes their range of products even greater, more things on display and slightly more staff. Plenty of car parking spots too. It's quite easy to get lost in here as it's so much larger than other Bunnings. I can easily spend an hour or two here.
The staff are really friendly and helpful and offer great expert advice. I always spend at least an hour here looking around and talking to staff. I also love Bunnings for the really informative workshops, what a fantastic service to offer. Have always found the staff to be very professional.
