Bunnings Lidcombe Warehouse

I visited this Bunnings for some timber to fill in a doorway. We went around to the trade entrance and spoke to the attendant. He seemed to have no idea! I asked for 90mm x 90mm and he said they only had 100mm x 100mm. He pointed me in the direction. After an extensive search I asking him to come show me and it turned out it was 90mm x 90mm afterall? I asked if we needed treated or untreated for or project and he had no advice to give. I often find the timer staff at Bunnings to be the least friendly, helpful or useful or all. This was no exception. We decided to delay our purchase and left with nothing.

Yes, it's huge (like most bunnings) but I've almost always been able to find staff to help, tell me where things are, whether they have stock (again - they almost always do) and generally be friendly. Good place for what you're looking for. Had a return once - dodgy fan - and they did that with no problems.
