Buon Gusto

It's been here for a long long time which says a lot. Authentic Italian food without the pretence and fair prices. Park on Abercrombie St or perhaps easier to catch the train. Fresh pasta sauces are yummmmm and warm Italian service, what's not to love ? It's in a student part of town but it's more upmarket than basic student places, though still frequented by them due to fair prices. Try it !

Conviniently tucked away in chippendale a stone throws away from redfern, this pl;ace does a mean seafood linguine! sauce is on point with consistency and even the chips are good served with mayonaise in a sea shell very original indeed if your after a moderately priced good value italian restaurant come here you wont be dissapointed !

Always seem to forget about this place as its not on the main strip. It is genuinly italian and family run and the food is great - super authentic. The pizza is thin base and crispy. Have tried the special crab fettucine as well which is amazing, crab legs and all.
Staff are friendly and service was great.

So glad we found this place. It's become our favourite casual restaurant & there's really nothing else like it!! It's your typical family-run restaurant. Enthusiastic greetings to delicious authentic Italian food. Generously proportioned pasta's, cheapest pizza's in town & consistently great service! It's a winner every time and every one we bring here leaves so happy! We can't say enough good things about Buon Gusto! We highly recommend it... and I also would recommend the Spaghetti Marinara or the Osso Buco - they are TO DIE FOR :D

Really not satisfied by the service produced. I brought my kids and I just felt like it was not a welcoming restaurant. Food was okay, but nothing extraordinary...
