Burattini's Pizzeria Restaurant

Been going to Burattini's for over 20 years and never disappointed. I realise times change, as do menus, went back last night, first time with new owner Anthony. Layout was ordinary, I'm of 2 minds on the number of TV's, and please loose the veggies and mashed potatoes with every meal, it' pub food when all said and done.

Love the gnocchi. Food is wonderful. Have been there on quite a few occasions and the big downside is - we always have to wait ages for anyone to bring wine glasses (even when asked), their FB page says they close at 10pm but we have been told just after 9 that its too late for dessert or coffee and they even start putting the chairs on tables before 9.30pm when there are still people eating - but the worst is there has been on each occasion a small child crying and crying. Seriously this child has cried for almost the whole time we have been there. I dont think this is appropriate. The place is tiled so its a difficult exercise to talk and hear each other at the table. Ask anyone in the area and they say go to the other Italian up the road as they have music and no crying kids!!

Wish they could address this as we all want to dine there as we live local.

Went here expecting good food, got sub standard food, and ordinary service - very disappointed.

Great pizzas, real home made pasta dishes and friendly service. Certainly a hit with the kids as well. Will be back again
