Burleigh Heads Mowbray Park SLSC

Enjoyed a lazy Sunday lunch at Mowbray Park.
There's indoor seating, verandah seating and areas in full sun.
Good bar and food comes out fairly quickly.
Typical club menu with chicken Schnitz and parmy, fish & chips and seafood baskets.
Can get pretty busy so get in early!

Burleigh Heads Mowbray Park Surf Lifesaving Club is currently undergoing a makeover. There's still a lot of scaffolding up on one side as I believe there's a third level being added to this club. I recently attended a wedding here & was wondering how it was going to look, since construction wasn't complete, but I was definitely surprised at how great it came up. Staff had set up a long white curtained area to block the construction site. The view overlooking Burleigh beach in the afternoon is gorgeous!
The balcony was set up beautifully with decorated tables, & chairs with silver sashes. Little white birdcages with candles & flowers gave it an intimate ambience as the sun went down. I would have no hesitation in holding a wedding or party here. It was lovely, and the food was great. Staff were also always on hand & friendly.
