Burnham Bakery and Piggery Cafe

Came here on a Sunday lunch and it was packed. Relaxing indoor and outdoor seatings available and also kids and dogs friendly. We waiting for 30 mins for a table for a table of two when we could clearly see some empty seats. I ordered the barramundi burger with chips which was delicious and chips was not too oily and hand cut. Staff was friendly and was accommodating.

I love the Dandenongs and it's so green and lush this time of the year. This is a lovely cafe to have a snack or meal in set in the heart of Sherbrooke forest. The surroundings are lovely and the views beautiful. It's easy to forget how close Sherbrooke and the Dandenongs are to Melbourne and how lovely it all is.

Food was ok, but nothing revolutionary. I had pancakes which were a little dry. I did like the outdoor spaces. This place is too "hipster" for me though. I don't like my drinks served in jars with handles, metal camping plates or chipped crockery. Don't like having strangers reach over me to get their cutlery either - terrible table design. Not my thing, wouldn't go back. (Sorry Shannon. ??)
