Burnt Orange

Burnt Orange in Chatswood Chase, previously Tamarillo, is a wonderful shopping cafe - it's ideal for before work coffees and breakfast, mid shopping morning tea or a lovely light lunch or afternoon tea. I attended for High Tea and loved it. I would have preferred to have attended the Mosman Burnt Orange again as it is on a cliff top over the ocean and is a true wonder. I would prefer my high tea in a more peaceful envrontment and while the Chatswood Chase venue was nice it is in a shopping centre. They have done up the venue with faux vine and the like but it is no comparison.

So happy that one of my fave cafes is a bit easier to get to, and parking is much much easier ! All the usual things that you'd expect from Burnt Orange in Mosman, so lots of attention to detail in terms of quality ingredients and polished service.
I had a terrific salad and tea plus a biscuit, can't complain about anything! I will be back, no glorious bush outlook like the one in Mosman but the food and drink and service are spot on.

this a garden like brunch place inside the mall. Nice place.
I had the brioche bread with quail egg, corn, cheese, tomato, and bacon. Overall i like the flavour, except the brioche. for me the soft buttery bread not really match with topping, i would like have sourdough with that topping. but again is my personal preference. overall still good

Burnt Orange is a great way to start your day. Located within Chatswood Chase, it's a little cafe great for getting away from the hustle and bustle that is Chatswood. The table is set simply with fake flowers and fake vines overhang above giving the atmosphere of a garden escape.

I myself had the buckwheat pancakes, which came out presented lovely. They were soft and fluffy and full of flavour, with fresh fruit, a fresh cranberry ricotta and maple syrup on the side. I had a coffee also, which was smooth, creamy and had lots of aroma! Very satisfied with my ...read more

Located in the Chatswood Chase shopping centre Burnt Orange is a little oasis from the shopping frenzy. We went on a Sunday afternoon for a delightful high tea.

The sample menu is subject to change on the day but each item is beautifully presented and for $35 pp you will not leave hungry. For an extra $10 treat yourself to a sparkling high tea - because why not!
