Buzzzbar Cafe

I was introduced to Buzzzbar Cafe by a friend of mine who said that this place was the real deal. He said that it was one nice and calm place to have coffee and desserts and so we went.

Sadly everything seems to have changed. No more are the calm place ambiance and artworks on the wall — they have now been placed with dance music and make-shift dance floor and it was pretty puzzling. But they still have cafe-like seats (apart from some areas where they now have lounges to support the club-like atmosphere) and they still serve coffee and hot beverages — and brownies, and vanilla ice cream.

This fusion of club, pub, and cafe does not seem to work. The service was also quite awkward and seemed like they were very new to the business. It was certainly a strange experience that I hope I don't need to encounter again.

the staff are not the most professional here but the food is okay and the menu pretty good for options.

Absolutely horrible.

I will not mention the recent events that have occurred at this cafe since new management has taken over in February, but Buzzzbar deserves no business.

Absolutely appalling behaviour and treatment of staff which only reflects the lack of respect new management has for other people in general including their customers.

Not even joking, I suggest avoiding Buzzzbar in Newtown completely.

This place is a nice cafe with a good selection of seating areas, nice layout to the place. Good range of food and drinks, prices are on the cheap ish side. They do great cakes here as well.

Cockroaches crawling everywhere stale food and awful live entertainment. Newtown is full of real community based cafs so do yourself a favour, skip this cheap mean and nasty place and try them out.
