BWS - Albion Charles

If you are looking for one of those really hip and happing places to have a drink with your mates then you might as well walk straight past this pub and head down Westgarth St to Northcote because, to be honest with you, you won't find any real hip or happening people in this place. Basically it is a standard suburban pub with a sports bar, a pokies room that seems to take up a bulk of the pub, and little to no music. It does have a restaurant, in fact it has a burger bar, but once again don't expect anything all that fantastic here, particularly since it is one of those ALH pubs that you see all over the place. I won't comment on the food because, well, I've never eaten here, I've just stopped by for a drink while waiting for my train to arrive (Merri station is a five minute walk down the road). I'd probably land up here again, only because it happens to be near a railway station.
