SEYMOUR VICTOIA. I just have been in the BWS store in Seymour Victoria (date and time 24 / 7 /23 time 1.20pm), I tried to purchase 1 bottle of honey mead and a special worth $56.00 totalling around $78. dollars. My 18yo son helped me carry the alcohol to the counter, the young girl behind the counter said that my Son would have to show her ID, it was annoying, because his ID was in the car but ok. I told the girl that I was purchasing the items and she started quoting law to me about secondary purchases, all this was annoying but once again Ok. Clearly this arrogant upstart took offence to my questions, as I asked about all the little kids that carry alcohol to the counter for parents, she stated that is fine because it is up to her feelings on how she proceeds. She then stated that the alcohol was not on special, by this point I had enough, I went to the back of the store and took a photo of the specials ticket, when returning to the counter another ...read more
I was recently in your store at round corner Dural when i walked in the manger was rude and was treating his staff very poorly and yelling at them and everything and this is't the first time he has been rude to staff i have been to the store before and it looked like he was firing one of his staff members in the middle of the store yelling at them and everything and i think that it was just very unprofessional and just rude the poor staff memeber left the store in tears because of the way he was talking to them. I think that you should educate your staff espically your mangers on the right way to do things
I recently enounted a unpleasant visit to the Eightmile plains east store.
I believe it was last Thursday possibly Wednesday, When I was in the store making my purchase. I was procededing to the counter to pay for my items I heard a lady yell out profanity’s at the top of her voice shouting the F word and some other words, She was a young girl with red hair I believe.
The poor lady who was serving me just looked at me embarrassed and not surprised as if it was a normal thing that occurs. I’m disappointed not only myself as a customer but the employee shouldn’t have to deal with such foul language, we were both shocked and didn’t know what to say. When I visit Bws I don’t expect to be greeted with such distasteful words I don’t know if I will be back.
I went to Latrobe BWS tas yesterday to get a bottle of wine, the blond woman that served me made a cocky remark as if to say have fun when you get drunk tonight, she use to do the same when she worked at Devonport. If she dosn't like people that chose to drink she should get another job. I have cancer and if I want a bottle of wine I will do so and I should't have to put up with being be talked down to by a cocky employee.
We ventured into the Atherton 4883 BWS store yesterday early afternoon (11th March) and were attended to by a wonderful young man by the name of Andrew. He obviously enjoyed his work as he made us feel most welcome and was very helpful.
It was uplifting to have such a person in attendance and felt it was worth noting.
