This is such a lovely setting. Whilst in a resort you really feel like you have your own space. All guests are respectful and quiet and it gives you the feeling of really getting away. You do need a car if you fancy getting out and about and the guest services should perhaps let you know that you need to book the bus into town rather than just waltzing up!! Rooms are just gorgeous!!
We stayed at Byron at Byron without the kids. I think it is geared towards adults and I would not bring kids. It was a very lovely and relaxing break. The single room was very spacious and had sliding doors that opened to be spacious and closed, for sleeping. The room had a small but well equipped kitchen; you could easily stay there for a week. We had a giant bath. The accommodation has minimal heating/cooling & relies on nature. This is pleasant and the unit was well built for nature, however I was cold in the morning and wind seems to go straight into the shower. The resort has several lovely isolated private board walks to explore across the mangroves. The resort was pristine, though when we were there, hedges were being cut...so a bit noisy!
