Never had an issue with staying there in a tent, great location

Truly awful. Booked and paid for a week in '3 bedroom house', for our family, and paid a premium. Certainly not as described on the web site. No air conditioning, and could not be described as a house. More like a run down shack. Furniture old and in very poor state. They attempted to make things better by providing some of the facilities listed on the site and a few extras, but certainly not enough to compensate for the discrepancy between the price paid and the accommodation provided. Left early and have no first her response to my emails. Stay elsewhere for similar cost!

Booked what was supposed to be a discounted price of $225 for a cabin a Byron Bay Tourist Village. When I checked in I discovered the price for the cabin was actually $150. When I queried this with them they said it was $225 because there were three people. I informed them that there were only two of us. They then informed me that they had upgraded our cabin. I find this hard to believe as the cabin we were offered was very old and dilapidated. They refused to refund the overcharge of $75. I was so annoyed that my husband and I left and did not stay the night.

Stayed a weekend up here in one of the self-contained cabins (it slept approx 5 people although there were only two of us).

Facilities were average, with all the features you would expect from such a tourist village. The pool and tennis courts were a great addition, and were well kept.

Location is relatively convenitent, being a 5 minute drive/20 minute walk to town. It also has a kiosk on-site which means less need to travel to get food if you just want to sleep in or laze by the pool, a definite positive!

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and I found they were always willing to help out with any of my questions about facilities or the surrounding area, and help direct me to find exactly what I wanted locally.

All in all it was a great experience. Not the kind of place to go if you want slick decor and cocktails, but a very comfortable and budget friendly place to stay just out of the heart of Byron. Would definitely come back!
