I have been using the services of C&A Alterations for over 15 years now. They are phenomenal taylors, who are equally as good with tayloring as they are with mending and alterations. Their workmanship is amazing: they can work with any material from delicate silks to the heaviest of tapestries. They do invisible mending! The owner is very pelasant and obliging - when I needed it they have done a really complex ball gown alteration within 24 hours and have done a stellar job! I am now moving from the city to the suburbs, but will continue to come to C&A alternations for all my tayloring needs! Greatful and loyal customer, Natalie
Not only affordable, but painstakingly careful with your alterations. They're not afraid to tell you when they think you might be doing the wrong thing with a particular design change or fabric, but they're also happy to indulge your experimenting -- and have successfully managed to entirely change the look of some much-loved but outdates garments, giving them an entirely new lease of life. Fast turnaround, with the longest wait I've had so far being three days.
