Could not recommend this business less.
Campbell was extremely rude, making us uncomfortable throughout the whole process. He would add on too many extras and then charge for removing items that were not requested initally. He would belittle us surrounding our ability to complete his forms and then push us for a "lock in" payment, even though he had only delivered a quote. He then tried to charge us monthly for a "late fee". He would make confusing statements about when he would start work and insisted that we do a large portion of the work ourselves.
Best to just find someone else.
To be honest our experience dealing with Campbell was not great. We called him because he had good reviews online. But he would not agree to do the scope that we really needed and insisted on charging us to quote for the work that he was prepared to do. The whole process was really stressful. So in the end we paid for the quotes - but went with a different landscaper that was happy to do the work we needed and was a lot easier to deal with. Campbell is the only landscaper we came across that insisted on charging to provide a quote.
Interesting to read the reviews on here as we had a great experience and were advised each step of the way, with our own choice, whether we wanted to accept a variation to benefit ourselves, which we are glad that we did. We were kept appraised of the entire job and very happy with both the overall look and the workmanship along the way. Friendly staff on site and plenty of options given. I note this was still the most economical quote that we received and feel it was fair for the quality work received.
This guy could not have been ruder. We intend to get a retaining wall redone as part of a new house sale. I wanted an indicitive price guide only and he went off about how much of his time I was wasting. He went into an unprovocted attack that my finance might fall over, my house might not sell and so forth. He completely failed to give me a chance to speak. I have no house to sell, my finance is approved and i also have work on another property that i didn't even have a chance to mention. I told him where to go and will be sure that i never contact him. Please don't call this rude bloke. Go anywhere else. People like this should not be in business. He should take his website down.
Scam merchant stay well clear. Gives reasonable quote then adds on many extras, wants you to do all the hard work yourself. Left an unusable job and now decking that's rotted through in no time Cost us alot more money to fix everything that he left. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.
