Chris is a true expert in his field, he came highly recommended from a friend who had her home restumped by Chris.
My property is only very slightly out of level in one bedroom, Chris was able to explain in detail the pros and cons of releveling this section. He was extremely honest and was conscious of what impacts it would have to the type of plaster we have (old Californian bungalow), and tiles in the nearby bathroom.
I wish all trades took the time he did to explain all options and were as honest. I couldn’t recommend Chris more highly.
When I rang Chris he came out and quoted to have my house restumped. I had called someone else on my list first who stuffed me around with excuses or calling out of the blue to come quote. I work, I'm not a stay at home mum with my hands in the kitchen sink. He still hasn't called to organise a quote and that was in July I called him, his loss, Chris' gain. So I got my quote which I was impressed with, Chris called and told me to only pay the money for the council permit so he could get the ball rolling. A week later he calls and says I'm coming out. It was a work day for me but that didn't matter, he started anyway. He calls me later in the day and said the house doesn't need stumping, only Reblocking, the stumps are in perfect order, he arranged for the permit to be refunded as it wasn't needed and the cost was now a third of the quote. Chris only works in the local area but I would happily recommend his very professional service. He arrived promptly and was so gentle that none of my belongings moved at all while having my home restumped. I'd heard all of the horror stories about other restumping jobs but no new cracks appeared & some of the original ones actually closed up! Chris & his team left my property clean & tidy also!
