CA Drafting and Design

Currently filing legal proceedings with this company. Incompetent and useless is an understatement. Incorrect measurements done on the house, forgot to bring his measuring equipment. Doesn’t understand Australian building standards. Refused to give me my drawings despite the fact I had paid the contract in full. Still won’t give me the CAD files so that my structural engineer can’t proceed with the engineering plans. This guy is nasty. Please don’t use his services unless you want to be ripped off and have nothing but stress. Zero star rating if I could.

Would not use this buisness! A clear discription was given and a covenant provided to Chris to outline what I wanted and what was applicable by the council. This was clearly stated in the contract that the information I had provided would be used in order for my plans to comply. Chris turned up to site meeting no measuring equipment and asked for exsisting plans. The information provided was not used and all measurements were wrong! when I approached him about the mistake he said would not fix without further payment so I had to pay more money and when I received the amended plans after additional payment they still had wrong measurements and parts missing. Final copy of plans were not council approved as they were all wrong, when contacted he would not take my calls kept hanging up on me. Currently in legal proceedings, have since found out he has de registered the buisness at the start of the Yr but still using buisness name.

Would not use this company. A clear design brief was given to Chris with a clear outline of what was required. Came back with incorrect measurements more than once, incorrect client name and contact details on a floor plan as well as incorrect spellings. A floor plan was required for a business premesis to submit to a franchise head office for approval. I met Chris on site, for him to measure, he had no measuring equipment and asked if I had any drawings, I had a rough idea of what I wanted, it seems he took this and just copied it and sent back to me charging me $800 for the privilege. When changes were required to add inclusions as originally requested to follow clear guidelines given to him at the outset, he said he could do these for an additional feel and it would take him as long to add the additions as it had taken him to produce the original drawing.
