Cactus Jacks

Great place to kick off your evening with a cocktail, dinners are very nice and the vibe is buzzing, it is quite loud so maybe not ideal for a romantic dinner. Breakfast was disappointing but have enjoyed dinner and lunch here.

Headed in on a Friday night with a group of friends for cocktails and was pleasantly surprised. Great little cocktail menu and we had some delicious side dishes to go with them.
Bar staff were very average, unsure if it was a bad day or something but they almost seemed put out by the fact that customers wanted to be served!

We took our wheelchair friend here for dinner and were very impressed that as soon as we arrived at the table, the standard chair had already been removed to fit the wheelchair.
The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. When it came time for dessert, we were blown away by our waitresses honesty in saying that the coffee they use is only pods. Not sure if we looked like coffee conniseurs but we were very appreciative of this piece of information. Fantastic experience. Even better with an Entertainment voucher.

The food is good not great but good, the Tuesday night chilli special was disappointing, we make better chilli at home...

Want to give this a better review...but if you've been to any of the Cactus Jacks in Townsville, then you'll be disappointed. The food just isn't as good. It's ok. But not great. Cocktails are good though. Try to get there early enough for happy hour.
