Cactus Towing

If you have been un-lawfully towed by this un-ethical company, I'd suggest to file a complaint with the Office of Fair Trading QLD like I just did. I was charged $550 to get my scooter of the tray - it hadn't even been moved to the yard. Where is it justified to charge that amount of money for the tray being lowered once? I strongly believe that this company acts outside the law and needs to be stopped.

The owener does this business is way beyond ethical.

I got my car towed today and they asked me to pay $660. I asked them to show me any legal document about how the fee is scheduled or show me your company policy regarding to the fee schedule of charing towed vehicles. They couldn't supply me any of the documents. All they can say is you have to pay $660 and we will release your vehicle. I think this is a rubbery!!!

Disrespectful and unprofessional, avoid like the plague

I have had to deal with Daniel from Cactus towing since Sunday night and have been absolutely appalled by his service. Too set up the scene - My sister was driving my car and parked in a church car park that she should not of. We did not see the tiny signs he had on the bottom corner of the gate but they were there, so he was just doing his job when he towed my car away. Less than an hour later my sister came back cause she had to go pick up another friend but the car was gone. I'm am in no way disputing the fact that he towed my car in the first place, it was what followed that I took issue with.
He was very rude to me, my sister and my husband. He did not provide us with accurate details with the money changing from $660 to $650 then back to $660.
