My work colleague and I decided to have breakfast before work one morning and I chose to try this café as neither of us had eaten or had the coffee before and it was just around the corner. Anyways, we both ordered coffees and a bacon and egg sandwich with a hash brown and that was made quickly and well, we very much enjoyed that. Service was pretty quick considering how busy it was. I wouldn’t mind coming back again to try some other breakfast items on the menu which I found were quite decently priced.
Unfortunately breakfast at Café Bang Bang proved disappointing. The poached eggs with salmon and avocado sounded great but was lacking seasoning and finesse. The other breakfasts really didn't look like much effort had gone into them either. On a positive note the coffee was good and the atmosphere is nice.
I had walked past this place a number of times on my way to work when I was working in Adelaide over the Christmas break, and decided that I would go and check it out. However I discovered that it hadn't yet appeared on the internet which led me to ask one of the staff how long they have been around. It turns out only two months. Well, I have to say that I quite liked this place, and it is a great place for breakfast. This is one of those trendy cafes that are starting to appear around Adelaide, and while the outside doesn't look all that flash, the inside does have a lot of atmosphere. The staff are really nice, and they have their own speciality dishes for breakfast. I ended up having the fruit salad, which was quite nice, as well as a cup of tea. Certainly a place to check out if you happen to be looking for a place to have a bite to eat.
