I made a booking for Mothers day in march and was the first booking written in the book. I have since been contacted and my request for a particular table was ignored. I have phoned the café today and was advised, by the rude manager, that I was not the first booking, basically called me a liar, and she would not fix my booking up. Her advice cancel or put up with the table that had allocated. I am now waiting for the owner to contact me. The last time I dined there the service was very very slow but decided to give another chance. WRONG MOVE !!!! Owner has since contacted me and no compromise only to say it was staff member's fault who took original booking...how disappointing blaming staff.

A wonderfully relaxed environment with serene water views plus extremely kid-friendly with a playground too. Typical cafe food is quite tasty at decent value, but the service is rather slow..

We keep on trying this cafe after being disappointed time after time. We go back mainly because of the playground and the lovely setting, although the playground seems a bit grubby. The downsides are the service and the food. The food is inconsistent as some is really nice but most is a major disappointment, especially considering the price tag. The service is consistently terrible. Last week we had to wait over 15 minutes before anyone came near us to take our order. If it wasn't that the little ones were very happily burning up energy in the play area, we would have left after being completely ignored after less than 10 minutes. On the same visit we had to ask 3 times for water and the iced coffee came out with literally half the cream having fallen down the outside of the glass. Then to top it off my meal came out luke warm at best. It is such a shame as this place could have such promise.

I went here with my wife and lil daughter few months back. The cafe is right in the heart of flower power nursery and there is a lovely pond beside the cafe sittings. This gives you a very relaxed and soothing feel. Coffees and cakes that we had were delicious. My lil one also enjoyed her babycino and cake alongside having some fun time in kids play area. Plus you can shop for plants and decor. Overall a very pleasant experience.

I've been these caf many times over the years. Lovely atmosphere, surrounded with plants, lake and a kid friendly zone. Love having coffee, brunch or lunch with my mates here. A bit expensive but delish food, service may be a bit lack at times due to many people not sufficient staff.
