Cafe City Edge, in the back streets of Surry Hills is one of the more popular lunch stops for office workers from the surrounding trendy businesses.
More often than you'll find a queue out the door at peak lunch periods; the queue moves quickly and service is fast despite the volume.
The menu consists of delicious sandwiches, wraps, various pastas as well as fresh juices and salads.
There's a reason for the queue and it's because you'll be hard pressed to find a tastier sandwich minus the high price Surry Hills cafes usually carry.

This place always has a queue out the door! They do the best wraps and sandwiches for such an affordable price. They are jam packed full of ingredients and are so delicious. Despite the fact that there is always a huge lunch rush you never have to wait more than 10 minutes for your order. I use to work around the corner and there were always at least 20 people a day from my office getting their lunches from here.
They also do awesome heathy juices!
Highly recommend! Sometimes I even walk the 20 minutes from my new office because I honestly can't find anywhere as good as here that is closer by.

This place oozes your friendly corner sandwich shop, dominating Surry Hills with it's simplicity and quality execution. This place is awesome! A colleague of mine told me to visit this place as they do good healthy salads especially if you're looking for a good feed after a good gym session. I cannot believe how cheap the menu is! I ordered the chicken, quinoa, feta, sweet potato salad and was very impressed! I got a really good amount of chicken (they weren't stingy on the serving) and the salad part was perfect. Full of flavour! I also ordered a beetroot juice which was cheap too only $3 for a small. Quick service, friendly guys behind the counter, and the line is out the door so I was impressed with how quick they are! I'll definitely be making an effort to come here more often!
The best sandwiches. Went once and then again one month later and the guy behind the counter remembered my name. Pretty impressive if you consider there has been a line out the door every time I have walked passed. Don't let the line scare you though, it moves very quickly!
