Cafe Corretto

Do you like Ferraris? Are you a petrol head? Then this venue could well be designed for you. But even if the amazing decor is not to your liking, the pizzas are tasty and very reasonably priced and the spaghetti was absolutely delightful. And the staff were far friendlier than some other nearby places.

Just like Notturno's this cafe was popular with me and friends as teenagers as we would meet friends, mingle with other young diners and have a great affordable meal. So defintely have a soft spot for this buzzing place.

Soggy pizza, bad service, we waited 40 minutes to place our order, very disappointed. You get what you pay for.

BEST PIZZA IN MELBOURNE!

Cafe Corretto has been my favourite italian restaurant since I first ate there as a Melbourne Uni student 13 years ago! And their standard has not dropped in those 13 years. They have the best pizza I've ever tasted (and I taste quite a lot of pizza!) and the pasta's pretty great too! The pizza base is thin and crisp and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of topping! Specifically the American pizza (add mushrooms) & the Spaghetti Carbonara are "to die for" - YUM, YUM, YUM!!!

I went here with some friends after a late movie, had a garlic bread (OK - probably wouldn't have again), but the pizza was awesome! Cheapish, crisp base, lots of stuff on top and not too much cheese. Will be back again.
