This is a great little no-nonsense, friendly cafe. It's right in the centre of Canberra shopping precinct and it's exactly what you see. Friendly staff, a good range of all-day dishes and a really relaxed, funky, "take us as you find us" environment. I had Tomato & Basil Soup, followed by a Smoked Salmon Salad. Both dishes were nice. Service is lovely and prices are good. There's a large range of tea and coffee available, but I didn't sample either on my visit. I have no problems about returning here - I'd be sure to get a decent meal, no question about it. Thank you.
One of the cafe's without outdoor seating on the bunda st side of the central canberra mall. Probably best for breakfasts. Being Canberra the majority of restaurants/cafes are just a little bit more expensive then most other cities in Oz. The breakfast selection including vegetarian (which I am) is really good, btwn $8 for big serve of raisin toast to $15 for a substantial breakfast plus extra for very good coffee. You won't be disappointed. The dinner menu looked pretty good as well
