This is place used to be good but management have recently made decisions for the worse. The other day I was asked to wait 10 mins for a seat despite making made a booking for six people the day before. The average price for a main dish has gone up and you can expect around $30 but the quality and portion size has gone down. Staff are friendly and attentive.
I agree with the user below because I also had a mediocre experience here. The place is most certainly not the one I used to know from the past. Our food was mostly good but the attitude and the prices have gone in the wrong directions. I am very disappointed, it was good before.
I have been to this cafe/restaurant (it really is a restaurant rather than a cafe - this is certainly reflected in the price of meals - average $15 entree, $30 mains) before, and was pleased with the standard of the food. My most recent visit, however, was quite disappointing. We arrived at 7.30pm as a party of five, to be shown to a table that was wedged into a corner, with booth seating on the side and end of the table and the other seats tightly positioned immediately next to other diners' tables. Once we performed a game of human tetris to get into our assigned seats, we were then offered sparkling mineral water. My partner clearly asked for two bottles and we were then brought three opened bottles of mineral water. Figuring that we would certainly drink the water over the course of the evening, we all shrugged this off and didn't query the extra bottle of water.
