I had the fish of the day, rockling. Gorgeous flavours and well portioned. Love the salsa on top and fluffy mashed potato. My partner had the steak said it was good too.
He ordered side roasted potatoes which were scrumptious. We had dessert the brulee with passionfruit and promenades, perfect. And also the chocolate dipping sauce with basicly 6 small donuts, which were nice. Service pleasant, quick and friendly. Also came and topped up our water and made sure we were well serviced.
I went to Cafe Florentine for my fathers birthday and I have to say this was the worst meal I have ever had out, the service was terrible, on arriving we were seated and given our menus we were never asked if we wanted drinks after a waiter came to take our meal order we had to ask can we order drinks, on arrival of our drinks one of the drinks was wrong, they took it back but than they added both drinks to our bill, which I unknowingly paid for, on arrival of our meals the waiter put 3 meals in the wrong spot which is not a big deal but just added to the night, 2 people on our table ordered fish dishes which looked like they had been boiled and not baked, I feel the quality of the food has really gone down hill in this restaurant and consider it unsatisfactory, l would rate the overall quality of our meals as very poor and most certainly will never return.
Service is very good and prompt. Staff is friendly and helpful. I haven't had breakfast but a main course for dinner is expensive as it is served mostly without any vegetables or sides. I ordered a side dish of vegetables and found they were undercooked to the point of being inedible. The main course was flavourless but wholesome.
