Cafe Galiano

Hate that I have to give even 1 star. The coffee is terrible and the food and service worse. Just do not go there. We ordered 1 large Latte (that was served in a take away cup even though we were eating in ugh!) and a hot chocolate with a toasted ham cheese and tomato sandwich. The coffee took over 15mins to come even though they were clearly not busy as they had time to stand around and chat and the sandwich came latter - bread dried out NOT toasted and the filling so cold the cheese wasn't even starting to go soft. The table was sticky and the salt and pepper icky. For a coffee shop where you order and take a number and seat the staff are so not busy they really could serve you. Very poor value

Went for breakfast and food was tasty....what you got of it. I do not eat eggs, so asked if they could replace with a little extra tomato or mushroom (as they do not,reduce the price). They said sure, I'll speak with the chef. They have no intention of as staff did not move from the spot. Very small portion for a considerable price. Customer service is definitely lacking. Will not go back and would not recommend.

Best coffee I've had in a long time along with good customer service makes this a winner with me!

My roast pork was dry and tough, our chips weren't served with our meal, asked if they were ready 10 mintues later, they were but they were cold. Our other meal, chicken parma, was so tough we needed a steak knife just to get through it.

A lady near us had been waiting 25 mins for her coffee.
