Nothing special but very reliable coffee, food and opening times

The food isn't bad here, but what's really great about this place is the late night teas and banana bread... mmm

Cafe Insomnia has put itself forward as a strong candidate for your dining dollar.

The menu begins with an entree of garlic or herb foccacia and a soft drink.

This is followed by your choice of either barramundi fillet, grilled chicken breast fillet or sirloin steak.

We tried the chicken, topped with bacon in a red wine napolitana sauce.

Ours was a generous sized serving, well-covered in the sauce providing plenty of taste.

The fillet was also well-covered in strips of bacon, which rounded out the dish nicely.

All the main servings were dinner-sized, so we left happy.
