Wonderful place, we've been going there two years now. the owner and staff are so friendly. We are staunch regulars. The chef is awesome and so is the service.The service is just so personalised and they even gave me chocolates on Valentines Day ;0) Highly recommended. I am voting for Leo and Shelley!!
So it was morning tea time and i really fancied a coffee and toasted sandwich i had not been here before and thought I would give it a try. I ordered a ham, cheese and tomato toasted sandwich and a latte. When I returned to work with my food and unwrapped it I could not believe that this sandwich could possible be sold at $5.50 a go! So there was 1 slice of ham, 4 very thinly sliced pieces of tomato, and what i can only describe as a splat of cheese about the size of a 50c piece! All the food was shoved in the middle and not spread around the bread. I have worked in cafe's and sandwich shops and I know this is not good enough, with every bite the customer should taste all the fillings in the sandwich - this was most definetly not the case! When I went back to ask about this (and posibbly get some cheese and tomato added around the bread) I was simply told, this is what you ordered, this is how we make it, and no one has ever complained before.
