Cafe New York

Came here for afternoon tea. It wasn't very busy so the service was quick. The ice coffee was good.

Had a Groupon to come here. Food was decent. Not very ambient - like a New York diner! The price probably is about right. Had the ribs which were great. Service could be better.

Came here to meet some friends, the service was tactful, very attentive when we wanted to order and quick taking our finished plates away. Food was great, they had a breakfast special which was really well priced.

The service is unenthusiastic, lazy and slow. The food comes out like the pace of a snail, and often staff members were not around enough. Had to get up several times to ask for something and to for the cheque.



I had the ribs. It was nothing special, in terms of flavour. Not one of the best I have had but not the worst. It borders on a bit of the bland side. Would recommend this for anyone desperate for something edible, but not recommendable if you want something with a reasonable price and a tasty, unique meal.

Not overly impressed with this one. We're new to the area and were looking for a local coffee/breakfast/meeting joint. The coffee is fine, the service is fine. The toast was a good serve but not cut, so harder to eat. Not a great venue for a meeting as it's far too noisy.
