Cafe Notturno

This place has been buzzing for years. As a teenager we would meet friends late at night for delicious and affordable Pizza and Pasta. Glad to see its still buzzing!

Always buzzing and the pizzas are really good. Sometimes just go for coffee but the staff are always friendly and will let you sit without being bothered. A place I'd recommend as a local!

Service was a bit slow and I overheard some training of waitstaff that didn't sound nice. But the food was alright - cheap and fairly tasty (veg pizza).

Food is not very good and the service is average. But they are very busy because most young people go here on Friday and Saturday nights to hang out and have coffees. I have been here many times to people watch and soak up the busy and vibrant night atmosphere this part of Lygon Street provides, but only really for coffees as I haven't liked the food in the past, and I haven't seen many people order dinner here, most people I see around me are doing the same as us, just catching up over coffees.

I like going here to enjoy cheap meals and friendly service. The Cafe is always full with lively customers and one of the busiest stores on Lygon ST
