Dingy-looking and next to busy main road, Cafe on Parade is not my typical choice for a cafe. It was only my love for Campos coffee that brought me in. I was pleasantly surprised.
Inside, the wooden furniture and floorboard created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Seated deep in the cafe with the radio playing in the background, I almost forgot the proximity of the main road. The barista was engaging and friendly without being intrusive.
Most importantly, my coffee was made very well. Sipping on the strong Campos latte brought back fond memories of the days spent in the flagship cafe. I was not even fussed about the lack of latte art. My only disappointment was the paucity of sweet treats on offer.
I will most definitely be back for coffee at Cafe on Parade.
